Have you all seen Amy’s newest pattern? She is just releasing it today and I la, la, la, love it! It’s the Boardwalk Hoodie and Henley pattern that has both girl and boy options. I love a pattern that I can tape together and sew something up for my boy and my girl. Some of my favorite co-ed patterns are the Bimaa (sewn here and here), the Jack and Jill shirt (sewn here), and now I’m going to have to add this to my co-ed loving list!
My girl has been going through a major growth spurt recently, so new dresses were definitely in order. I used those good old target jersey knit sheets again…this time in bright, neon pink. And the blue and white fabric is leftover from a few shirts I have sewn for myself.
Sweet Pea exclaimed, you made me a dress when I showed her the finished product. I guess it’s been a while since I have sewn for her. I’m definitely going to have to remedy that.
So back to the pattern, it has many options, shirt, dress, short sleeve, long sleeve, hooded, henley; it’s definitely a pattern that I can sew again and again, without making my kids wardrobe look like it’s gone on repeat. And this pattern’s laid back look fits right in with our small town, swim often, lake going, beach bound Florida lifestyle.
Ooh…did I also mention that today only Amy is offering a 15% discount. Just enter boardwalk15 when you are ready to check out!
