I am so excited to be the next stop on Suz‘s pattern tour. Here newest pattern, the Little Betty, was sure to be a hit after the huge success of her first pattern, Debie’s Birthday Dress. Here vintage style is right up my alley.
Suz asked me to test the size 8 top, in the long sleeve version. I love every little bit about this top. The ruffles, the button in the back, the ribbed cuffs and band at the bottom.
And what’s even more important, Sweet Pea loves it!
I used several different knits that I had in my stash, the gray and the neon pink are from cut up target sheets. And the black ribbing is a great thrift store find, where I bought a couple yards of this fabric for $1. The button is a vintage button I inherited from my great grandmother along with a whole jar of others a few years back.
The Little Betty Top comes in three different sleeve lengths, making the shirt variation possibilities endless. I’m already dreaming up what my next Little Betty Top is going to look like.
Make sure you stop by the other blogs on the tour these next couple weeks. Their Little Betty’s are sure to get your creative gears cranking. And if you’d like to buy the pattern, Suz has it for sale right over here! She’s offering a discount when you type in BETTYTOUR1 for $1 AUD off the pattern!
